How to delete your CardTrove account and personal data

How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your CardTrove account and all associated personal data using any of these methods:

  1. In the mobile app: Go to Settings → scroll to “Danger Zone” → tap “Delete Account”
  2. On the web: Go to Settings → scroll to “Delete Account”
  3. By email: Send a deletion request to privacy@cardtrove.io from the email address associated with your account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove or anonymize:

  • Your email address, name, and display name
  • Your avatar, bio, and social links
  • Connected OAuth accounts (Google, Facebook, Apple, Discord)
  • Two-factor authentication settings
  • Push notification subscriptions
  • Watchlist and notification preferences
  • Active sessions and authentication tokens

Anonymized transaction records may be retained for legal and financial compliance purposes, but they cannot be linked back to your identity.

Facebook Users

If you signed up using Facebook Login, removing CardTrove from your Facebook settings will automatically trigger a data deletion request. You will receive a confirmation code, and this page will display the status of your request.

Timeline

Account deletion is processed immediately. Your personal data is removed within seconds of the request. If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled automatically.
